The Haudenasaunee or Iroquois Confederacy seal a treaty with the Dutch in 1613 with a belt of wampum beads called the "Two-Row Wampum Treaty". On the 400th anniversary of that treaty over 200 rowers made the 13 day trip from Troy NY to New York City and there took part in the United Nations Day of the Worlds Indigenous Peoples.
